Ute Ratchet Strap Fitting Kit

A quick, adjustable way to secure your VanEquip Universal Ute Drawers.

The Ratchet Strap Kit lets you secure your Universal Ute Drawers without drilling into your wellside. Hook the straps onto your ute's factory D-rings or lashing points, ratchet them tight, and you're done.

The adjustable strap length handles a wide range of anchor point positions, so it suits utes where the tie-downs don't line up neatly with the drawer unit. You get a firm, rattle-free hold, your tub stays unmarked, and the install is fully reversible.

Why Use Ratchet Straps?

Ratchet Straps or Turnbuckles?

Choose ratchet straps if your anchor points are spaced unevenly or sit further from the drawer unit, or if you remove your drawers often. Choose our Turnbuckle Kit if your anchor points sit close to the drawers and you want a compact, all-steel connection.

Compatibility

✔ Suitable for utes with factory metal D-rings or lashing rings at the front of the tub or deck.
✘ Not suitable for utes without anchor points. Use our standard bracket mounting method instead.

Included in the Kit

• 2 × ratchet straps with coated J-hooks (rated to 450 kg each)
• 2 × stainless steel pad eye mounting plates
• 8 × screws

Installation Tip

Once the straps are tensioned, tie off or tuck away the loose webbing tail so it can't flap in the wind or wear against the tub. Check the tension periodically, especially after the first few trips.
