What is your drawer sliding solution?
Our standard drawers use ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) slides on the plywood drawer base.
These provide a no maintenance, light weight, low friction solution that can handle comparable weight to metal runners.
However, we can substitute with 76mm "super heavy duty" metal runners. Note: there is additional cost and weight when using metal runners.
Will VanEquip products fit my specific van model?
Yes! Our storage systems are designed to fit most Japanese and European trade vans, and we offer customisable solutions to ensure a perfect fit.
Please note: We currently do not provide designs for people movers, small passenger vehicles, or vans outside our standard trade range. If you're unsure whether your van is compatible, feel free to reach out!
Is installation easy?
All van drawer systems are precision-cut, pre-assembled for easy installation in most New Zealand van models.

Are the storage systems durable enough for heavy tools and equipment?
Yes! We use top quality marine-bonded plywood.
The drawers are made from 12mm birch plywood for a durable finish.
The false floor and drawer front surfaces are available in 18mm natural birch ply or 18mm black Heksa ply with a heavy duty protective coating.
How do VanEquip products enhance safety?
By storing tools and parts in a van drawer system you will eliminate the risk of personal injury when rummaging through a messy van.
It will also reduce the risk of injury due to tools becoming projectiles in the case of an incident while travelling.
